Light for Do-yourself Table top lighting

  1. Hi Bee/Jai,
    I used a philips milky white (actually is yellow tinted) 100 W bulb for my table top lighting. But it gives a yellow shade to the pics. The 25 w power saving lights are the only high-power lights of their kind available to me. But they were too costly (Rs.300 per bulb) but the philips bulbs were just Rs.15. I feel the philips bulbs were not that much bright. Which power would you recommend for me?

    It's not the power but the color temperature that you should look for. To get a whiter shade try 5500k - the yellower ones are closer to 3200k. they come in all wattages.
